Data Nexus processes

Nexus Chat processes your game display name, Nexus ID, public friend code, profile, friendships, requests, messages, reactions and timestamps. Room presence, typing, polls and pins are temporary.

Recovery key

Your recovery key is stored in your browser. The server stores a SHA-256 hash, not the raw recovery key. Never share the recovery key.

Storage and retention

Persistent social data is stored in Turso. Global history is limited to the latest 100 messages. Direct-message history is limited to the latest 100 messages per conversation. Match data is temporary.

Sharing

Nexus does not sell personal data and does not use advertising trackers. Public profiles and Global messages are visible to Nexus users. Direct messages are stored and visible only to their participants. Render and Turso process data as hosting providers.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, remove friends, block users locally, clear browser data and stop using Nexus. Account deletion is not automated yet. Use the official Nexus Discord for deletion or privacy requests.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may change when the service changes; the current version will remain available here.
